...The Geforce 6200 I have doesn't work in MDD's for some odd reason but does work in all other AGP G4 towers.
didn't know that. i've use some 6200s before, but have never owned/used a MDD... wonder why it won't work? did you tape the pins, tried all the other tricks? voltage problem perhaps?!? learn something new every day around here. long live PPC!

Actually yes... If you cross the road without looking.. You deserve to get hit by a car. What the hell kind of example is that? If you're going to spend $450 on something, you should AT LEAST be smart enough to read the description of the product. I never once said the seller was right in doing so, so don't you dare call me a scum... Maybe you should re-read my post before you try and act like a smart guy. We don't need anymore trolls around here. I clearly stated the buyer deserves to lose his money for complete stupidity.

Sounds awesome, but I'll still stick with Camino until Safari speeds up a bit and is more stable. Those were my only two issues.

Download the Safari Webkit Nightly, it's plenty fast. Today's build is pretty stable too (r16812)...

I would go with the 9800 also. The Geforce 6200 I have doesn't work in MDD's for some odd reason but does work in all other AGP G4 towers. The 9800 will also outperform a GF 6200.
Be sure to get a Radeon 9800 Pro rather than a regular 9800. About the same prices but the Pro is faster.

Does anybody understand why Metal Gear Solid 4 was on the PS3, and then was on the Xbox 360? I feel ripped off. The Wii has a larger installed base. I feel so ripped off I'm refusing to give Konami any props. I'm just giving props to PC games. I'm not upset.

But that is the problem. Instant messaging has been on phones for over two years. Why would they want to sell a phone on instant messaging if everybody pretty much already has a phone with IM already? There's no reason to buy it if they're going to advertise a feature people already have it on their phones.
And how exactly is IM faster than texting?
just seems to me that people are acting like its a feature that shouldn't be on a phone rather then one that is almost standard. it also just seems that IM's are quicker conversations then texts, but maybe i'm wrong about that cause on phones it's pretty much the same thing.

I'd disagree that designers should be making text areas 100% wide though. I've a 2560 wide screen. That'd be silly. Letting users on the other hand size it themselves and giving designers the tools to accommodate resizing is the way to go
At the same time, it's kinda silly to view most web pages at 2560 wide, even 1200+. At that point a paragraph is usually only one or two lines, forcing you to do quite a bit of tracking to read what you want. If you're comfortable viewing the text that way, why not edit it that way as well?
But I definitely agree that letting the users resize the textareas inside the page is a great usability feature. Just was trying to point out that there are already (simple) solutions to the issue.

Great result there! just wondering how did you get the tiger dock in SL... I've tried to find out a way to get it, but never found such a perfect result. it looks exactly as the tiger one: Is that a theme or have you replaced some files in the library?

I was so happy when I found it, but it turns out the it makes a 100px region around the Dock (to the left, right and centre) completely unusable. Neither the mouse or two finger scrolling works in that region, but I didn't know it was the dock causing that at the time.
I've now settled on this:

Mactubes is spectacular for Youtube on a PPC.
OP, a great browser for PPC Macs is TenFourFox (http://www.floodgap.com/software/tenfourfox/), it's specifically built for our old Macs.
This has been a very fun thread to read through. Those old PowerMacs are great machines. Glad to see another one fixed up.
