I didn't get a 4 because I was holding out for a bigger screen. I really want to keep buying Apple products. But at this point, if the phone is delayed or the screen is staying the same size, I am going to have to start checking out some of the HTCs. My 3G is almost unusable since OS4.Enjoy! HTC looks a very capable phone. Cheers! It sounds like you need an upgrade, too. I'm on the original iPhone — but I know whatever I buy will have to do me for 2-3 years so I'm waiting on iPhone 5, no matter what.

But we have to realize that Apple does not want to be predictable. We don't really know just exactly how the JAPAN devastation affected Apple and how it will deliver its products. That could be very well what has delayed things. If this is the case, patience is all we can give anybody at this point. They lost so much.

I've been a very satisfied customer of .Mac since its inception. I receive zero spam e-mails and I am delighted with the ability to create aliases. On top of that there is no advertising at all. I also have a couple of other web-mail accounts and they get zillions of spam messages even with their respective anti-spam filters turned on. I think that this update adds a little bit more polish on an already decent offering. I do agree with a previous poster that the iCal integration needs some work.

That's true, I have received VERY little spam, and what i do receive gets put right into junk mail. I have 2 to 3 email addresses forwarded to my .mac account (those 2 to 3 do receive spam) but i still get very little in my Mail.app or webmail. good point, because if anyone has ever used hotmail, that crap gets annoying fast.

I live in Maryland in what is considered the metropolitan Washington DC area; and I have been an AT&T customer since, wow - forever. I moved to AT&T from Sprint, and I couldn't be any happier with the customer service, pricing, call quality, and consistency with their network. When the iPhone 3G came out, I switched to it from a Samsung Blackjack 2. Since my company didn't support the iPhone, I was able to find a workaround using google. Well, about a year or so ago, my company's IT department decided to do something with the security which precluded me from further use of my eхploit, so I was forced to get a company-provided Blackberry Tour using Verizon - a day that shall live in infamy. It was extremely slow; I experienced drop call at a rate much higher than with AT&T, and I was so frustrated at the fact that I couldn't do anything else, such as search the web, while I was on a call. So I ends up carrying two phones. One to check work email and calendar, and my AT&T iPhone for everything else.
Well, I am pleased to say that my company know uses Google Apps (yeeeessss), and I am back down to one phone. But the reason for my post is to get a sense of whiter or not the complaints I hear about AT&T are regional. I rarely experience dropped calls; their network is really fast (faster than our guest provided wifi at work), and I can browse the web while on the phone with my wife (she is still with sprint). I was troubled at the most recent cover of Consumer Reports vis-a-vis their analysis of carries. On it it states "Sorry AT&T, or something to that effect..By the way, a majority of the people at work complain about Verizon, which prompted us to go to a stipend program for those of us the require to have a smart phone. So is service regional, and xo those folks living in areas of the country with limited AT&T technology have the loudest bark?

I have an old iBook G4 and it tells me that no battery is installed even when there is a working battery in place, anyone have any clue to what is up?

I have really been thinking of finally getting an iPhone.. but after hearing all these battery issues I am starting to think otherwise. IDK.. we'll see. At least its not as bad as the Thunderbolts 3-4hr battery!! LOL!! Thats just pathetic.
My iPhone 4 battery at first was TERRIFIC. 4.3 & 4.3.1 ********* things up. Now people ask me why I have a charger with me all the time.
Btw: it's not hardware cause the change in battery life is not minimal, it's ENORMOUS and a new iPhone didn't fixed it. Go figure again. :mad:

For those who cannot give blood, I understand that feeling as I'm in that group with 2 cases of cancer. Before I was diagnosed I did give a few (too few) times and wish I had given more.
For those who can give blood, I've seen the huge need. My wife had acute leukemia (ALL) and over 18 months of chemo was in desperate need of blood 10 times. Fortunately the blood & platelets were available when needed.
After that experience I felt I should have given more, but have no hesitation asking you to give a few units.
