I downloaded the Sling Plug-in for Mac off the Slingbox site. When I click to start the installer that downloaded it pops up a box that "ask you to close Safari"??? while the installer is approx one minute from finishing the install and then it locks the progress bar..........when you close Safari as requested it then cancels the install and gives "Installation Failed" message ( well duh; I am forced to close the internet browser)

Yea the last one was ridiculous, and crazy overpriced for what it was -the 4cyl was quoted around $30,000 and didn't have automatic *anything*, the seats felt like park benches, and it didn't have any of the nice interior features the 6cyl that cost 35+ did.
It had cool trunk hinges and tail lights, though. And that 2.0T is a neat engine (I'm sad they are launching the 2011 with a 2.5.. wtf?!)

I didn't lose any of my roll-over minutes. I have ~1200 and am on the 450 individual plan.
They will fix it on the next bill. You'll only have 450 rollover minutes. The same thing happened to me.

that sounds like a plan,only problem is,the store,i have a weird feeling that the 14st store wont be selling them,i havent called any stores,but i do know ppl are already waiting outside the 5th ave store,so to be on the safe side i think the 5th ave store would be best

We reached 400k PPD which isn't great in itself except that this is without twoodcc's help, so when he will come back, we should reach our highest average yet.
Still we need more firepower. We still crunch at #65 average PPD, meaning we will be loosing ground again. Also the release of the new Sandbridge chips will hurt us. Non overclocked 4 cores single CPU can do 30k PPD with bigadv, or about what a 8 core 2.26Ghz Nehalem does. Seeing that Mac Pro won't get Sandbridge until 2012, this is going to be tough. Also NVidia releases the 560 ti for mid range with good performance for GPU Folding, which can't be done with Mac OS X...
Ultimately, the Macs make less and less sense for Folding.

I don't run script to enable it, i am enabling it manually from the preference pane in system preferences. It is because my dual G4 is always on and I don't have to turn it off. It is running as a server of my media files and my work station as well.

Duno about that, all i know is with a tethered jb its possible to have cydia and jb apps greyed out.
Not sure what would happen to grey out a native app.
If it happens again look around in settings and see if something is up with the phone or baseband section?

I would go with the 9800 also. The Geforce 6200 I have doesn't work in MDD's for some odd reason but does work in all other AGP G4 towers. The 9800 will also outperform a GF 6200.
Be sure to get a Radeon 9800 Pro rather than a regular 9800. About the same prices but the Pro is faster.
